About Me

A photographer passionate about capturing real moments, genuine emotion, and stories that feel true to you.

I’m Amber Harris — a photographer and visual artist based in Bude, Cornwall, working across weddings, events, and documentary-style photography. My commissioned work is rooted in capturing real moments as they unfold, with an unobtrusive and intuitive approach that allows people to feel at ease in front of the camera. I focus on connection, atmosphere, and the in-between moments, creating honest imagery that reflects the energy and emotion of each occasion rather than staged perfection.

I work closely with clients to understand what matters most to them, whether that’s the quiet moments, the big celebrations, or the details that might otherwise go unnoticed. From intimate weddings to large events, I aim to deliver cohesive visual stories that feel natural, considered, and timeless, with imagery suited for both personal keepsakes and professional use.

Alongside my commissioned practice, I continue to develop personal projects that explore themes of body, identity, and perception. Using close-up photography and experimental processes, I examine how sensory experience, emotion, and memory shape the way we see ourselves and others. This personal work informs my commercial approach, bringing a reflective, contemporary sensibility to how I document people and moments.

Photography is both a creative practice and a way of understanding the world — a way of noticing what’s often overlooked and giving space to what feels meaningful. Whether working on a wedding, an event, or a personal project, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel honest, emotionally resonant, and true to the people and moments they represent.
